Description : Flores is the name of the volcano located in the town of Moni in central Flores Island, in Indonesia. In this place there are three lakes that has 3 colors. Lake Tiwu Ata Mbupu blue.
In addition there Mbupu Ata Lake Tiwu Two other lakes, Nuwa Muri Koo Fai Tiwu and Tiwu Ata Poloyang separated by a wall of the crater, and usually green to the lake Nuwa Muri Koo Fai Tiwu, and red for lake Tiwu Polayang Ata. According to local researchers in the National Park Flores, the color of the lake changed by chemical reaction of each mineral contained in the lake, and is triggered by volcanic activity.
If you want to travel to see this place directly with a private plane, you can mendara at several airports nearby. Airports nearest to this is Maumere, and Ende. There are regular flights to Maumere from Bali. The journey from Maumere to Moni, the town at the base of Keli Mutu, takes about 3 hours.
